Get to know Dr. Michael Katich
Michael Katich, OD has been offering low vision services through Eye Care Specialists since 1992. His extensive optometric training in primary eye care, vision therapy, and low vision services allow him to provide broader opportunities for many visually impaired patients. Dr. Michael Katich is skilled in prescribing low vision devices which allow patients to maximize the use of their remaining vision, enhancing their day to day activities. Through these devices, patients who may be legally blind or who have lost vision to macular degeneration, diabetes, or glaucoma can function more independently and safely.
Dr. Michael Katich travels from St. Louis every other Wednesday to see patients at our Cape Girardeau office.
In his spare time, Dr. Michael Katich enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also shares his musical talents in the style of his Croatian and Serbian heritage!
